Nathan Murdoch
Co-Founder | Physics Specialist
Nathan is a Physics, Maths and Science Teacher, GCSE Examiner, and holds an MA Education. He has several years experience in comprehensive, independent and grammar schools. He completed his degree in Physics with Medical Physics at the University of Nottingham before joining the Teach First training programme. Since gaining Qualified Teacher Status and a PGDE, he has held a variety of roles including coordinating Key Stage 3, designing and implementing assessments, and creating and delivering specialist curricula to students with additional need. Outside of teaching Nathan enjoys reading books on a variety of topics, scuba diving, editing videos, cooking, watching movies, and playing games with friends.
Anthony Criscuolo
Co-Founder | Maths Specialist
Anthony is a Medical Physics PhD Student carrying out cancer treatment research at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL). He has numerous years experience tutoring Maths and Physics to a very high standard both within schools and privately, giving a broad and in depth curriculum knowledge of both content and exam technique. His academic and teaching ability is demonstrated through his First Class Honours degree in Physics, and A*AA at A-level. Alongside his research Anthony enjoys exercise, listening to podcasts, snowboarding, travelling and playing pool.
Robin
Biology Specialist
Robin is a Biology, Chemistry, and Music teacher with experience teaching in the state and independent sector. A graduate of the Teach First training programme, Robin has previously led GCSE Science for a large department, adapting the curriculum and revision programme to best support students in their exams. Since gaining Qualified Teacher Status and a PGDE, Robin has pursued his passions for Science and Music through teaching and private tutoring. Outside teaching, Robin enjoys long distance running and hiking, and can often be found exploring mountains in Norway!
Shaianne
Chemistry Specialist
Shaianne is a Qualified Chemistry Teacher who has transferred her skills to be an RNA Manufacturing Technician for a popular pharmaceutical company. She has a decade of private tutoring and teaching experience. She completed her degree in Chemistry at the University of Kent before completing her PGCE and gaining Qualified Teacher Status. Shaianne is passionate about Chemistry because it's intertwined with everything in our daily lives, from the clothes we wear to the food we eat. Outside of teaching, Shaianne enjoys socialising with friends, travelling, dance classes and K-Pop.
Taylor
Physics Specialist
Taylor is a GCSE specialist Physics and Biology teacher. She completed her degree in Biology with Microbiology at the University of South Florida, and has since moved to the UK, gaining Qualified Teacher Status alongside a PGCE specialising in Physics. Taylor is dedicated to making an impact on pupils both inside and outside the classroom. She co-founded a STEM club at her previous school, and currently works in a girls grammar school encouraging more female students to explore all possibilities within STEM. In her free time, Taylor enjoys learning languages and looking after her plants.
Christina
Maths Specialist
Christina is a Medical Physics PhD student at NPL conducting research in radiotherapy for cancer treatment. She holds a Masters degree in Physics with Nanophotonics from Imperial College London and a First Class Honours Bachelors degree in Physics. During college she was recognised with the IB Scholar Award and the IB Physics Scholar Award for her high academic achievements. She has worked as a GCSE, A level and IB Maths and Physics Tutor for several years as well as a research and teaching assistant at the university. In her free time, Christina enjoys cooking, dancing and spending time with friends.
Ewan
English Specialist
Ewan started out as an English literature graduate, before quickly moving into the education setting through the highly competitive Teach First programme. He later found his love of teaching extended into the academic field, becoming an individual that lives and breathes the pedagogical sciences; recently completing his MA Education in the autonomy of teaching which we are applying to our own practice to ensure that we maintain a healthy and motivated tutoring body. Outside of teaching, Ewan loves to read, exercise, and explore the great outdoors!
Hayley
Physics Specialist
Hayley is a fully qualified Science teacher, specialising in Physics. After completing her Masters degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, Hayley worked in Formula One as a Mathematical Modeller and Software Developer. She has over 15 years experience as a tutor across KS3, GCSE and A Level for Science and Maths.
When Hayley isn't geeking out over sci fi, she can be found baking, crafting and jumping out of planes.
